Community Service Worker Diploma
Gain practical skills in counseling, advocacy, and program planning to support diverse populations as a Community Service Worker.


The one-year Community Service Worker Diploma trains you to support individuals and families across community agencies, residential homes, and mental health settings. You’ll start with foundational courses in Sociology and Interpersonal Communication, then build advanced skills in Anti-Oppressive Practice and Supportive Counselling. Through Service Coordination & Advocacy, you’ll learn to develop client-centered care plans, navigate social welfare policies, and facilitate access to resources. A supervised Field Practicum in a partnering agency lets you apply trauma-informed, strength-based approaches in real-world scenarios, preparing you for roles such as Community Support Worker or Case Manager Assistant.
